MDC is short for mobile data computer, they are installed in all of the fire engines and ambulances that the NCDJPA dispatches for.  It allows responding units to see maps, access updates about the patients condition or location and displays pertinent information such as key locations or special instructions as soon as the dispatcher enters the information.  The MDC also routes units to calls, allows units see other units on their maps, looks up prior information about a location units are responding to and access other essential information.

Patient is in a White Mitsubishi Eclipse 50 yards past the intersection with hazard lights on, has a dog (poodle) in the rear of vehicle by the name of “lucy” which is known to bite unfamiliar people.

Both units copy information.
